Let's Start a Political Discussion! Yay!!

Considering all of the people they have hurt and killed since taking office, it's hard to find joy even when the Bush administration is finally getting a little comeupance... and yet I am reveling in Bush's misery right now! I wonder what the Forest Heights' team of crack political analysts thinks about the recent steaming vat of hot justice this administration finds itself in. Will this be the beginning of a long overdue uncovering of all the crimes these bastards have obviously been commiting, from election fraud to criminal conspiracies to secret energy meetings to illegal wars to a sultry and exceedingly ribald love triangle between Bush Rove and Libby??

Or will it all be conveniently swept away and forgetten, paving the way for George W. Bush High to take on cross-town rivals Reagan HS in the big homecoming game of 2015? Thaughts?

Looks like we will find out later tonight. Its 5 pm here, which means its only thirty seven o'clock back home. Dudes is gonna blow his indicting wad today they say.

I of course, also take much joy in this.

Since indictments are dropping today I guess that means there will be some other big news to deflect the real news. What will it be? NEW supreme court nominee? NEW flavor of supreme taco? Terrorists kidnap Lyndsay Lohan?

All them foolios can eat a dick bitch eat a bowl of shit bitch.

That's all the analysis I have right now.

I will admit, that at times I do a pretty good job of keeping up with politics, this is not one of those times.
I know the news never stops with these jerks, so I pick up some from headlines, and peice the rest together from what I read in the Onion.
I'm not a good person to be laying down any figures, or facts.
I do, in fact, distrust what our goverment has been feeding us. we have all dealt with liers in our life, and if I had to make a choice, I would rather give $5 bucks to the guy who has his kids waiting in the car, while he tries to get enough to make it back to east St.Paul.
I hope those F**kers get what they deserve.

After two years of investigation the Libby/Rove/Chenney scandal/circle jerk is finnally coming to some goddamn action. Although, who cares? Only the already politically conscious, I would argue. So, unfourtunately, I think this issue lacks the gusto to have a significant impact on the voting public. Look: nobody died, got sucked off, or crashed in an airplane/helicopter/limo. It is inevitably going to get overlooked, and people are going to go back to bitching about how gas is 4 cents cheaper in Detroit than it is in Branson. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited to watch those fuckers squirm. Hopefully my predictions are way off, and it is going to turn the "think tank" inside out.

It snowed a foot on the mountain today.

Your summation seems pretty accurate.

I remember discussing this with Kyle and me Pappy when the leak squaked out. Jack said nothing will come of it, I said probably will.

Although one things has remained confusing to me: how the fuck would this actually have discredited Joseph Wilson? I mean, yeah, his wife possibly recommended him for the job. Its not like Niger is fucking club-med dude, nobody wants to hang out there???

"One of the poorest countries in the world, Niger's economy is based largely on subsistence farming, livestock, and some of the world's largest uranium deposits."

"Major infectious diseases:
Definition Field Listing
degree of risk: very high
food or waterborne diseases: bacterial and protozoal diarrhea, hepatitis A, and typhoid fever
vectorborne disease: malaria is a high risk in some locations
respiratory disease: meningococcal meningitis (2004)"

"Population below poverty line:
Definition Field Listing
63% (1993 est.)"

I mean, it just doesn't sound like a real lark. So big friendly giant if the dude has a wife who works for the CIA. God, its just fucking dumb, there is so little gain for such a big risk. But then again I guess that's how you behave when you're convinced you operate above the law.

Now the next federal investigation that ought to get underway (but THIS one never will)...

And hey, does anyone know anything about airraids in Iraq for nearly 4 months before the start of the war in an attempt to provoke Iraqi response (ala Gulf of Tanking?)?
