Snap, Crackle, Pop.
Two albums of 2005, that I liked, didn't even make a blip on the radar. Chad VanGaalen - Infiniheart & Mazarin - We're Already There.
Both are great pop records, but I think Mazarin holds it down better in the replay catagory, they've been doing it a little longer. Chad VanGaalen has better lyrics & stories, but shows off a little too much vag' on some of his cuts. Something about his song writing makes me believe his next record will be better than this current one.
Check out the opening tracks to both albums:
Chad VanGaalen - Clinically Dead
Mazarin - The New American Apathy

word. panzar passed on that mazarin album to me a little while ago, and it's pretty hot. that opening song is great.....And they're gonna be at the 400 bar with the Double on March 30th if anyone is up.
you know what? That will be a pretty good show. The Double's newest (maybe only) album really impressed me. I'll mark my book, and try to make it.
