Ah, K-star? just got it.
There's something still fresh about regional Japanese graphic design...the y're working with awesome fucking source material, the traditional crests, and then apply a 70's looking geometric composition to them. I've always liked these.
When I was down at Salami's house in Hiroshima, her Dad was some type of city council man or something. They had this 7 page catalog of submissions for their new town-logo or something, and most of them had styles like these... and were really good. I wonder what one they went with... lemme search now:
