lupe fiasco
Tomorrow night Electric Fetus is sending me & Lundquist to a meet & greet/dinner/listening party for Atalntic Records newest rapper, Lupe Fiasco.
Here's what Wikipedia says about him:
Born and raised in Chicago, Lupe Fiasco first became known to the mainstream hip hop music community in 2005 when he appeared on the song "Touch The Sky" from Kanye West's sophomore album Late Registration. He is to release his debut album, Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor on Atlantic Records in spring 2006. He released a preview track for the album in August 2005, named "Kick, Push," which showcased his interest in skateboarding.
The album 'Food & Liqour' that was scheduled to be released on June 27th, 2006 was released on the internet as an unfinished and unmastered album and is now being heavily bootlegged months before its release date. It is speculated that Lupe plans to add 5 more tracks to "Food & Liquor" and put it out as planned.

Kick Push is a killer single. swelling strings atop head knoddin break matched w/ lupe's silky smooth ryhme = most awesome. great hook too. I ordered the 12", hasn't shown up yet. looking forward to the album.
If anyone has a mp3 of "kick push" could ya'lls post
I have 3 of his STREET TAPEZ DOODE and yeah, he's pretty good.
Actually, he's got a really solid rhyme style, and unique content. Oh, and he's a good producer. I guess you could say I'm impressed.
Can't put anything up because I'm at work, but if you can wait nine hours...
tomorrow night Lundquist, JJ, and I will be getting free food from Nochee as we listen to Lupe's new record, and watch industry folks kiss his arse.
Nochee?
thanks for comedy jared, it worked this time.
Everyone look out for our newest contributor...
