The Beards
Week 3, and we get our first progress photo. Not a very good picture, but it's easy to see how fast my face hair grows, next to Dave's.
Today, I picked upa copy of Too-Rye-Ay, by Dexy's Midnight Runners, on wax, for a couple bucks. It's a nice celtic-folk gone pop-ska, find. Classic record, and a must hear. The album contains the hit "Come On Eileen", which is the groups biggest hit, and maybe one of their most fantastic songs.
The band had a pretty terrible look going on. Really dough, it's hard to defend those over-alls. That video makes them all look really gay, which probably helped them get fans back in 1982.
I don't have any digital files from that particular album, but I have some of their other stuff on CD.

Coming along nice there, Jared. How far are you planning on taking it?
I currently have four-weeker happening and I'm entering into the same dilemma I always do. I usually go into a beard with the plans on keeping it trimmed and short and smart but end up giving into laziness and curiosity and just let it go to see how far it will go before someone stops me.
Jason, was that photo taken while you were thinking about posting this comment?
no - it's over a year old
hahaha.
well Dave and I are supposed to grow our beards out 'til the first 60 degree day of 2007. so another three months, at least.
Keep the updates coming. Daily.
