Black Devil Disco Club

I just picked up a stack of vinyl from the Fetus. One of the records I got was this Black Devil Disco Club record, titled 28 Later.
With the record jacket providing no information, and Me not knowing exactly what this record is, I did a little research, and found out some thangs about this that only confused me more.
First, let me explain what I do know. Put out by Rephlex, this album is only 6 tracks long. Each one of the tracks is a killer blend of disco, Kraftwerk inspired electro, and European/Native American sounding vocals. The whole thing reminds me a lot of Metro Area.

In doing a little research, I discovered that this group may not be new. That they may have come out in 1978. That the group might actually be called Black Devil, and their EP is titled Disco Club. That it may have been a unheard gem, floating around a few small circles of european disco collectors for years, until 1999, when Chemical Brothers sampled a song called "Earthmessage", on "Got Glint?", for their album Surrender. That Rephlex "reissued" the original Black Devil Disco Club EP in 2004. That all of this might be a big joke played on listeners, by Aphex Twin.

Whatever the truth may be, that has very little significance on the recordings we get on 28 Later, since these songs are blazin' hot disco jams, that could dominate dancefloors just as much today, as they would have in 1978.

YES! I've heard of this... it's fo real, dude, late 70's italo disco. Originals are rare. That whole scene of italo-disco has some crazy stuff though, in terms of super obscure/rare/pricey/sleezy jams on 12's & LP.

BDDC prices

Haven't heard this yet, so thanks, looking forward to it.

I'm doing a great job of being super hung-over/almost-still-drunk at my desk today yet maintaining a positive demeanor. Butt Fuck I feel like shit.

After listening to this, do you think it's the same BDDC?
