Paul McCartney

Having never really had a super Beatles phase as a youth (nor Floyd, Zepp, etc) my depth of knowledge may be limited, but I've seen Lennon as the artist and McCartney as the craftsman. That's probably true during the Beatles-LP era, but not really knowing the WINGS albums and other solo efforts had me assuming that post Beatles McCartney was pretty...how do you say...nought so hought?
