Between One End and The Other
I don't know much about Midlake, but I like this new album, The Trials of Van Occupanther, they dropped a couple months ago. The song writing is strong, they use a lot of vocal harmonies, and lyrics are great. This record is a nice Fall record.

classic styling. People will find it in 20 yrs and think it was a Beefheart sideproject or something.

The title and border remind me of a Dover Thrift Edition poetry book. Whitman or Dickinson or a Metaphysical Poetry anthology.
The lyrics are really wonderful.
