Tiger Town

Too bad I can't find a bigger & cleaner picture of the original VHS cover. Oh well.
I have a memory of seeing this movie on a hotel televison when I was young. I've asked people about it before, and nobody ever knows what I'm talking about.
What I remember about the story is short; The Tigers suck, but there is this kid that has some kind of psychic connection with Detroits pitcher, played by Roy Schinder, and when this kid is (at the stadium?) watching the game, then he can make the pitcher play better.
That's about all I remember, but that stuck with me for years. I'm sure the movie blows, and I probably wouldn't want to watch today.
I think the customer reviews of this movie on Amazon.com are funny.
