Don't Fear the Reaper
If you feel like picking up a British magazine in the near future Aya and I have had illustrations published in the past two issues of Plan B. These two are only for music reviews (Death Sentence: Panda, !!! and Tussle) but I think we are slowly working our way up to bigger pieces.
The next issue, for instance, we did an illustration for Blue Oyster Cult.
My home life and work life have been laying death and sickness on me pretty hard and heavy lately and it has been good to have various projects to focus on. That and strong doses of Japanese psychedelic rock and Peruvian 5-octave-spanning vocalists.
How's everyone dealing with the daily toil of the mortal coil?

I must say things for me are going fun and fancy free! I'm gradually beginning to have more time to get back into Tokyo these days, and the job/band/new apartment things are going fine fine fine!

They remind me of that crazy animated French movie -- the fantastic planet. Unlike that movie, however, these drawings won't haunt my dreams for the rest of my life.
Jason! Man it's so good to see what guys have been up to. I really like that second illustration in particular, it's really nice and the colors look so good too.
Derek, you don't know what a compliment you've given Aya. Fantastic Planet is one of her founding inspirations for creation.
...Which is to say my wife likes disturbing things. Have you ever seen any animation by Susan Pitt? Namely 'Asparagus'?
And Dirtbike, we have not been getting hot and intimate in chat rooms AT ALL for the past FOREVER. I have no idea where you are or what you are doing. Did you even get our New Year's card?
