Early Youth Impressions
I picked up the (digital) soundtrack to the Rankin/Bass 1977 animated Hobbit. Some songs still pop up in my memory unprompted so I had to dig it up. Here are two that are GREAT. Glenn Yarbrough.

I confess that I wore this tape out before denim was bleached. Next time I see you Jason, we'll have an old-fashioned hobbit movie night with songs, mead, and pipes down to our hairy toes.
seconded. speaking of mead, a small business in my town makes mead and the carbonated versions are delicious. non-carbonated? extra sweet, extra gross.
