Obamarama: Live from Chicago
While you guys were busy being half as patriotic as myself, I was fortunate enough to move to a city recently where a guy a lot of people like was gonna become President and wanted to throw a party in a park where everyone was invited and could jerk each other off when the official announcement came through.
Really though, it was a beautiful place to witness this once in a lifetime event and I was glad to have witnessed it. I haven't heard any numbers yet, but I guess they projected a million people. It was insane, and there were 5 jumbotrons all located about a quarter mile apart with nothing but people in between. As you will see in the video and photo below, this is a HUGE deal for a lot of people, marking yet another ground breaking moment in American history.

Those are great shots, it looked like it was insane there. I wanted to hop in the car and drive to Chi town, but work.... ya know.
Coleman vs. Franken is still up in the air. with over 2.9 million votes in Coleman is up by 601! That's it! We're set for a re-count and a mess up here in Minny.
HOly shit I was wondering what the outcome of that was... I watched the acceptacnce speech at lunch at a local pub that shows CNN all day and they were showing a tight race betwixt the duo, 41 to 41 percents and all... I though Coleman had won it though by the time I left work to meet some compatriots and "pub" crawl our way towards Aoyama where the final "party" was at.
I put party in quotes because it sucked and it was mainly euro dudes but in the end was totally awesome because guess who was there.
No, don't guess...it was David Hasselhoff. Yes, he was two booths down from me. America, fuck yeaah!
