Yeah, me too. It's funny that when Heavy Metal Parking Lot was released on DVD, they had a nice restored version to watch, then a 8th generation VHS dubbed copy to watch. good idea. That reminds me that I'd maybe like to watch Blair Witch Project again, but only if it was the same copy we watched originally. non of that theatrical release bullshit

I probably still have the VHS tape of the Blair Which Project that was mailed to me in high school. The shitty quality of that tape was what made that movie so interesting... It actually felt like you were watching a tape that you found in a dumpster somewhere. Hollywood always fucks up the home recording feel. They think all you need to do is shake a $100k digital camera around enough to make something look 'unprofessional.' But they're wrong, the quality of the medium can add much more to the feel of the film than a shaking camera.
