Wait, no, this is from the hilarious film "Bedazzled" starring Peter Cook and Dudley Moore which was later remade into the shitty film "Bedazzled" starring Brendan Frazer and Elizabeth Hurley. Peter Cook's vocals are pretty damn funny, but the song itself is HOT HOT HOT! Oh late 60s aesthetic, how I wish you would return to us!

With a little research it seems that Dudley Moore himself wrote and arranged this piece. The backing vocals sound so Third Wave, but I found no evidence of a connection. I guess there were lots of female vocalists with that awesome sound back then...
YES!!!! I love that stuff. Not enough of today's pop music has that bad-acid doom-groove that was so stylish in the late 60's and early 70's.
