Why don't I feel like this is getting the coverage it deserves? It looks pretty full-on in the states and on the BBC, but over here - next to nothing.
Am I missing something?
I kind of doubt think your missing that much... only poor people without cars are left in the city. There has been a lot of looting and other such acts of lawlessness... The floodwaters are now toxic with fuel, battery acid, garbage and raw sewage. A rescue helicopter attempting to pick people up from the Superdome was shot at and had to fly away. 300 'battle tested' national guardsmen have been sent in and instructed to shoot people if they need to, and Fats Domino is missing.
I've seen a few things on the news here, but not much. They found Fats Domino. Everything is okay!
