Why does fat go to the places it goes?
This picture is a (fake?) cross-section of a [apprx] 125 lb woman & a 150 lb woman.
What is it about lovehandles, saddlebags, and pitflaps that makes them ideal areas for storing fat? Why didn't we evolve so that we have massive fat-deposit rat-tails that hang from the back of our skulls? They would grow like a camels (lovely lady) hump and store fat for when we need to fast, swing as a beaver-tail like weapon, or perhaps show Mystikal what we're workin' wif. Last night, at Spank Rock, a girl asked me & Justin if we wanted to model for some thing, or other. Gyeah! We both took her card.
I don't care what the pictures are for, but I think the resulting photos will be hillarious. Even if the shoot is super serious, that just makes it better.

I want to let everyone know that there is a party tonight at 36 & Harriett S. There will be Dj's, Dancing, & free keg beer. It's totally open too, so anyone can come. Tell people. I think I'll head up there around 11pm. It sounds pretty good, but I'm not involved, so I can say for sure. If I were throwing a dance party, the shit would be off the hook, for realz. Anyway, I hope to see some of you (shaking it) there.

TWINS! I love going to games. I decided I'm just going to shell out the $200 for the season tickets. Wednesday night I paid $3 to get in to the game, then moved down after the 3rd. I sat 4 rows from the field, right over the Twins bullpen. What a game! Extra inning. Cuddyer hit a game winning home run! Fun.
The Twins will be on the road for the next week, but they'll be home everyday for a week, starting May 1st.

Well I do know that T.I. is one of the hottest rappers around. His new album, KING, went gold in less than a week, and he plays a high school student in the new movie ATL. The Tronics Of Congo

Last fall I heard some music by a group called Konono No.1. They use traditional Kinshasa dance rhythms, combined with electrified thumb pianos, megaphones, and dozens of drums, all of them turned up to 11.
In November 2005, I went to see Konono No.1 perform at the Cedar Cultural Center. The show was awesome. I had never heard anything quite like what they were doing, until the following song came on, and the song after that, and the song after that, and...
They jammed out for so long, that after a half hour of it people fell into a trance, and just started shaking their bodies, like I've never seen Minnesotan's move before.
I knew then that this music was something fresh, and special, so I put in a order for their album, Congotronics, on vinyl.
The success of the Konono No.1 album spawned the release of Congotronics 2, which is a collection of similar music by other artist in surrounding regions.
