She's So Hot...Boom!

So that show Flight of the Conchords is now on HBO. Super funny shit.
Just last week I was trying to tell someone how much I hate musicals, but then I forgot that I like this funny sketch comedy musicals, and that kind of stuff. Is that the same? Is it? It's just so much better than, say Oklahoma!

Here is a video from their live routine. It's not really like what is in the HBO show.

Dawg Days of Summer

So it comes down to this... I don't think that the Cavs have any hope of pulling this one out, and I'm not too sure of my chances either. It does give me some reason to watch this last game though, but I may need to turn the TV off before the Spurs start celebrating. And now that the real basketball is going to be over, I've been thinking of some ways to spice up other various forms of competitive bball. What do you think? Other than that I guess I'll have to fall back on streethoops to fill my bouncing ball needs.

Here's something...

The US military is designing robotic teddy bears that can run into a battle and extract wounded soldiers. They said that they gave the robot a teddy bear face so as to calm and reassure the wounded.

Vecna Technologies

To me it seems like if they can make robots sophisticated enough to walk into battle, identify wounded soldiers, pick them up and run back to safety, than they should probably be able to make robots that could just do the fighting for us.

Maybe the defense department should talk to Michael Jackson.

I’ve been wondering how long it would take for this to happen.

I had heard, quite some time ago, that Tesla’s experiments weren’t just about transmitting electric power through the air, but also about harnessing electric power from the atmosphere itself. That would obviously be a much greater achievement, but this is pretty cool too.

Did you know...

Scarlett Johansson has a twin? Well, I didn't. So when I found out, a fury of google-image-searching ensued with the hope that there maybe be four of these puppies out there...

Then I found out it's a twin brother.
