Dschinghis Khan - Moskau

I recently heard this song in a bar. It must have been a hit in Japan, as the old barkeep knew the name. Confirms my long held belief that secretly all Germans love Russian Kossak dancing.

Prince Pickles

Seriously man. Prince Pickles?! Saw this in the paper the other day and couldn't stop chuckling about it. And you know how I love to chuckle. And then share the chuckles. Count Chuckles...that's what you can call me. So, This is the new cartoon mascot for Japan's Army "Self-Defence Force." Why does their armed-forces need a friendly cartoon representation? To win over Arabs, I guess--I don't really know, I'm just really happy they decided to call him Prince Fucking Pickles.

The Eye The Egg & The Sun

Georges Bataille was a French pornography author, specializing in blasphemy, profanation, and horror. In 1928 he put out a book called Story of the Eye published under the pseudonym Lord Auch. Lord to the Shithouse.

of Montreal is an American pop band, that sometime manage to impress me with their music. This song is totally fuckable.

Finally

Fox News has taped two pilot episodes of a conservative version of the Daily Show called the 1/2 Hour News Hour.

I'm actually pretty curious to see what this will be like. My guess is pretty bad considering that, based on my experience, social and political conservatives are virtually humorless. Look at the army of comedians from the left versus Dennis Miller on the right. There’s a reason that there aren’t many conservative comedians, because comedy is fundamentally subversive, and conservatives are fundamentally not.

When will Japan stop giving?

Mickey Mouse Mutha Fuckas

I just posted this on Type In Music, but needed to share it with you guys at the Forest Heights. BTW, Carola has been contributing to Type In Music too. I hope you guys check it here and there.

It's kinda sad, but true. I live in a house that now has mice. Since the weather dropped below zero, the mice have been showing up. At first we thought it was just one, but then we caught the second, then the third, and last night we saw another four. I ended up backing one into a corner of my room. It's gone now. Flushed. We have eliminated a total of six mice from our house, in just four days, and we know there still are more. It really sucks.
So anyway, I woke up this morning, and thought of this song JJ of Still-Listen.com gave out on a mix CD this time last year. I just ripped it from the mix, but it will still make you bounce mutha fuckas.

Really Jimi?

There is this song that is supposed to be Jimi Hendrix. It's called Happy Birthday, not the one we sing before you blow out the candles, but an original. This recording doesn't show up on any Hendrix albums, but it does appear on some bootleg compilations that have surfaced over the years.
The Beastie Boys sampled it on Check Your Head, for their song Jimmy James.
I've always just excepted it as a Hendrix song, until recently.
I put this song on a CD for some of my co-workers at the Fetus, and they question it being Hendrix on vox, and on Guitar.
Take a listen, and let me know what you think, or what you already might know about this.
